The Welwitschia Partnership

This is the pbwiki for the British Council Welwitschia Partnership; a school link project set up under the British Council's Connecting Classrooms programme.

The aim of this Wiki is to enable the partners to access and share the documentation for this project but also to spread news of what we are trying to achieve.

This is how I presented this new partnership to the UK cluster members.

The Name

We called our partnership WELWITSCHIA in honour of the world's longest living plant which has its home in Namibia and is indeed the national symbol of that country, and to synmbolise our desire for a long lasting partnership and friendship between the three cluster partners.

See what one of these miracles of nature looks like in real life (well on video anyway)
